White millet is a major ingredient in many commercial bird seed mixes, but it can also be served by itself. The small white seed is most desired by doves and sparrows but will be consumed by other birds if their preferred selection is not available. If you are looking to avoid pigeons, doves and sparrows, it is best to avoid white millet and seed mixes containing higher levels of white millet.
